Asian-American Chemical Dependency Treatment Service (ACTS)is a state certified substance abuse treatment agency, and provides language and culturally appropriate chemical dependency treatment for Asian-Americans, including Korean, Japanese, Samoans and Vietnamese with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) in South King County.  Ten staffs provide coverage in Korean, Vietnamese, Samoan, and English.  ACTS serves about 700-800 clients per year in King County.

 

ACTS has been in active commitment to helping some of the most vulnerable Asian Pacific Islander Americans (APA) in our community to maintain drug- and alcohol-free lives.

Job Description

 

l  Hours:  9:00 ? 6:00, M-F

l  Professional, friendly, and warm personality to be able to offer a great first impression to all you come in contact with

l  Manage incoming patients/files

l  Health insurance billing and DSHS billing process

l  Help keep counselors organized and on schedule

l  Mailing/General office duties

 

Job Requirements

 

l  Must be organized, good at follow through and motivated

l  Must be outgoing, friendly, have good phone skills and enjoy working with the public

l  Enjoy a passion for health and wellness

l  Good computer skills

l  Reliable transportation

l  Mature, dependable and professional

l  Must enjoy working with staffs

l  Enjoy working in a great environment

l  Minimum of two years administrative experience
